The Owings Mills Recreation Council is honored to announce the establishment of the Crystal Slayton Memorial Scholarship, created to celebrate the legacy of Crystal Slayton, a dedicated volunteer, mentor, and advocate for youth sports in our community.

Crystal devoted many years to the Owings Mills Recreation Council, serving as Secretary and Commissioner for our indoor and outdoor soccer programs. Her passion for youth development, unwavering dedication, and selfless service left a lasting impact on countless young athletes. Even as she faced personal challenges, she remained committed to ensuring that our programs thrived.

To honor her contributions, we are proud to offer three scholarships of $1150 each to graduating high school seniors who have participated in Owings Mills Recreation programs for at least three years.
